If you have ever been to AirVenture in Oshkosh you've seen the EXPERIMENTAL placard that the FAA mandates homebuilt aircraft display. I understand what it means but I've always been a bit perplexed by the placard's purpose other than letting potential passengers know that they are in for possibly the (last) ride of their life.
In a similar vein this website should probably wear an experimental placard as well. This is my sandbox, my playground - a place where I try out techniques that would never make it into a client site. To that end, something may very well may look out place. (Especially on IE6, which frankly, it probably always will.)
In particular, I've built the site upon the Business Catalyst CMS which is a new one for me. I figured there was no better way to get my head around it than to build something with it. I'm still learning how to harness its power and I'm finding very it powerful in some ways and not some much other ways. (Full report coming in the near future.)
Further, I'm starting to play with HTML 5 and CSS 3 and nothing will break an old browser faster.
You've been forewarned. You may not be in for the ride of your life however your experiences will vary.
